    The Tabla accompaniment by Sadanand Naimpalli blend itself with the graces of ustads playing .Naimpalli has developed his craft to a polish where, fro instance ,you pick up the clarity of the na-dhin-dhin-na behind the measured beats in a sustained tempo.A truly mesmerising atmosphere of sound can be created by sitar and tabla.This was one of the most satisfying concerts rich form ,rich melody and the ardour of both musicians was amply evident.

    Sadanand Naimpalli then stepped in to the lime light to present a Tabla solo in yog taal a rare creation of the legendary Khaprumama Parvatkar in the beat cycle of 15 1/2 matras.The yog taal which is tantalising half a beat within the orbit of 16 beats was a challenging feat of mathematical precision which Sadanand tackled with the aplomb skill of an engineer that he is by discipline.He unleashed a series of intricate patterns of peshkar kaidas,gats,parans and so on.Sadanand who commenced his career with the tabla as a child prodigy still retains much of his prodigious skill.
